march bookclub

With mothers' day coming up in March, we wanted to choose a title that explores some of the lesser discussed aspects of motherhood, the taboos we are cautious about examining. Empty Houses by Brenda Navarro, translated from Spanish by Sophie Hughes, serves as a particularly provocative look into the desires, regrets and pressures of motherhood, we can't wait to discuss it with you all.

This month's in-person meetup will take place on Wednesday the 29th of March, and our online discussion (via Zoom) will take place on Thursday the 23rd of February. See our events page for more info.
