The Feminist Bookshop

The Feminist Bookshop is an independent bookshop and cafe in central Brighton. Everyone is welcome here to browse, meet up for a coffee and enjoy the space.

Book of THE Month

Our book of the month for February is Easier Ways to Say I Love You by Lucy Fry. Come down to the shop hear Lucy talk to us about the book and all things to do with polyamory and modern love on Tuesday 18th February.

Plant Based Cafe

Our cafe is entirely plant based and serves delicious vegan pastries from local makers and speciality coffee roasted by the incredible Girls Who Grind.

Events at The Feminist Bookshop

We host a range of events with writers, musicians, poets, guest speakers and many more.

Online Shop

The Feminist Bookshop is also online. You can purchase a selection of our favourite books along with The Feminist Bookshop tote bags and other gift items. We can ship to anywhere in the UK.

Life Drawing at the Bookshop

We regularly hold life drawing sessions hosted by the fabulous artist and tutor Bella Franks. The classes are relaxed, intimate and open to all levels. Click the link below to join us at the next session.
