Hiring the feminist bookshop
The bookshop may be hired outside of opening hours for up to 25 seated attendees or 35 standing attendees provided:
(i) The event organiser and event itself subscribe to The Feminist Bookshop events policy.
(ii) The event itself aims to support community building, arts, creativity, education and/or feminist/charitable causes.
(iii) The Feminist Bookshop is not responsible for any box office or promotion of the event.
The standard hire fees are £35 per hour, plus a fixed fee of £20 to set up and set down the space.
The minimum hire period is 2 hours. This excludes the provision / serving of refreshments at the event which incur additional costs. Please note The Feminist Bookshop does not hold an alcohol license and cannot provide alcoholic drinks.
Technical equipment such as microphones / PA systems and projectors, screens and recording equipment are not included or available to hire from the bookshop.
To secure a booking a deposit of £50 is required. This is refundable up to 14 days prior to the event.
